We're small. And that's the best thing about us!

Imagemaker is a photo-video production studio from Bucharest. We’re not a huge agency with 50+ people and 11 layers of management. We’re a lean team of professionals that have been doing photography and videography individually for close to a decade in this format, and willingly chose to stay small.

Why? Because in this format, we can bring something that a big studio can’t: The guarantee that the person answering the email is the person you’ll be working with. The fact that decisions are taken quickly instead of waiting for 5 different approvals and the concept that no project is too big or too small to have anything less than our undivided attention.

Dräger trusted us with documenting critical technology. Ursus wanted product photography that can live comfortably on billboards. Leroy Merlin got us for national ad campaigns.

But, to us, the family restaurant you like but never see an online menu, or the 8 person start-up that’s making their first corporate video, are just as important. Thus we offer the same team, same lighting, same attention to detail and same timely delivery to everyone as part of our commitment to quality, not to ripping people off. Because a good image doesn’t cost more no matter the budget, attention does, and fortunately, that’s our baseline.

Honesty from the first call

Time is the only currency you can never get back. Thus, if a project is not right for us, we’ll tell you right away out of respect for your time. If the budget is a tight squeeze, we explain why and recommend alternatives. We don’t sell what we can’t deliver.

Preparation is Key

The best pictures never come from luck. They’re a combination of knowing the location and how to use it to its fullest, proper lighting, and a good, efficient team brief. The camera is the last piece of the puzzle, as it should be.

Deliver as if we were the clients

Editing always goes through the hands of those who created the footage. Nobody knows the product better than those who were there.

The people behind the lens

Our team is composed of photographers, videographers, editors and a project coordinator. All with real experience in the industry, all just as involved in your projects. You’ll get to personally meet the people working for you, because that’s what we are, people, not disposable assets.
